The Woodcarving Hall is located in the middle of the Wuzhen Scenic Zone, within the Waterside Resort, surrounded peacefully by beautiful water, based on the original features of traditional local architecture and the styles of private gardens. The Woodcarving Hall, which was decorated in the style of a Chinese palace and has splendid paintings and carved artworks, embraces cross-cultural performances to underline the Wuzhen Theatre Festival’s potential for unlimited artistic exploration. This year, the specially invited plays The Tree and The Rapture will be performed here.
